This Privacy Policy describes how KVC Mobile Studio Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Simple Calculator: iOS Calc mobile application (the "App").

1. Automatically Collected Information

We use Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This may include:

  • Device model, operating system version, and screen resolution
  • App version and usage patterns (e.g., feature interactions)
  • Crash logs and performance data
  • Approximate geographic location (country level)

This data is collected in an anonymized form and cannot be used to personally identify you.

2. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:

  • Advertising ID (resettable identifier provided by your device)
  • IP address
  • General location data
  • Information about your interactions with ads

You can reset your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings. AdMob's privacy policy can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Local Storage

Your calculation history is stored exclusively on your device using SharedPreferences (local app storage). We do not access, transmit, or store your calculation data on our servers. You can clear this data at any time through the app's history management or your device's app settings.

How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the App
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
  • Diagnose and fix crashes and technical issues
  • Serve relevant advertisements
  • Comply with legal obligations

Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months. Crash report data is retained for up to 90 days. Local calculation history remains on your device until you choose to delete it.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of data collection (e.g., reset Advertising ID, uninstall the App)
  • Withdraw consent for analytics (where applicable)
